About This Pipe
In 1969, Danish pipe maker Søren Refbjerg Rassmussen founded a large workshop, producing pipes under the name Søren throughout the next decade. Later in life, he shifted his focus to handcrafted pipes, producing them under the name Refbjerg. Though we have received quite a few pipes from this brand in estates over the years, we had yet to see a Tomato until now. This is a rather compact rendition, measuring a little over 4.5 inches and verging closely on Nosewarmer territory, yet it still manages to exude plenty of character thanks to the rotund bowl and sleek shank-and-stem combination. The stummel showcases a plethora of lovely grain, which is accentuated by a rich, smooth finish for a thoroughly elegant look.
