About This Pipe

Sold in store 3-13-2010 There are many (fairly universal) modes of personal interaction that just seem to come with the territory of being human. Whether their origins hail from some program that is always running quietly in the brain stem, or something closer to the Jungian concept of the Collective Unconscious, some things are just a given, and when they aren't it's a sign of something having gone wrong. Case in point; the Ik tribe of Uganda was singled out for anthropological study, because the adults presented an utter absence of automatic protective behavior regarding the welfare of infants (in one infamous observation, a toddler slowly ambled into a huge village fire in front her parents and a dozen tribesman, and their only reaction was to laugh).

I think I work for the Ik. Everyone here knows how much I love Ardor Giants, they know how I love sphere shapes, and they know how I love the Mercurio finish. Don't you think that someone (anyone?) in the chain-of-custody of this pipe, prior to the arrival at my desk, would have said "This'll kill Bear. Better let me describe it.we owe him that. But nooooooo. They even grinned when they gave it to me! The Humanity! (sob) Oh, the humanity. .
