About This Pipe

Having grown up in an artistic family and possessing a love for antiques, it comes as no surprise that Irish artisan Austin Quinlan found his way into the pipe-making world. He started off his pipe-making career restoring estate pipes before going on to receive training from Giacomo Penzo at Peterson of Dublin. This bent Apple from Quinlan offers the smoker a satisfying feel in the hand thanks to its outstretched posture, robust bowl, and delightful sandblast. Out of a sweeping heel, the plump walls of the bowl rise to a chamfered rim, which surrounds a capacious chamber. The shank lifts from a tightly knit transition into a rounded boxwood accent and cumberland stem. The color palette is muted, with the black stain, boxwood accent, and red and black stem keeping things understated and classic. With its large chamber and cozy in-hand feel, this bent Apple is the kind of pipe you'll want to spend a lot of time with.
