About This Pipe
Founded by Carlo Scotti in 1947, Castello is recognized for being one of the first Italian brands to separate from the conventional English and French shaping standards. All of their pipes are individually shaped by a small team of artisans who focus on quality in both form and function. The prioritization of quality not only shifted Castello to international recognition, but changed the reputation of Italian pipes altogether.
Showcasing Castello's penchant for Italian neoclassic design, this bent Dublin boasts bowl-centric proportions. The bowl stands atop a jutting heel and features thick walls that expressively flare to a broad rim. Out back, the upturned shank meets a black acrylic stem, a combination that offers a comfortable smoking posture. Dressing this piece is Castello's iconic Old Antiquari sandblast, which draws out impressive growth rings along the bowl.
