About This Pipe
Like all of Peterson's "B" family shapes, which merge elements of several designs to create attractive and unique hybrids, the Irish marque's "B10" occupies a pretty eccentric spot — not exactly a classic shape, but featuring classical components to its overall design. If you look hard enough, you can find hints of the bent Dublin, Calabash, and Rhodesian shapes alike, yet the overall design still comes off cohesive and well-knit.
In 2025, Peterson introduced the Cobble finish — the culmination of the Irish firm's years of experimentation with texturing techniques. The Cobble, named after, and as varied as, the cobble bricks that mark the ancient streets of Dublin, combines the finest aspects of Peterson's signature rustication and sandblasting processes, resulting in an intensely craggy, yet detailed texture reminiscent of early 20th century sandblasted pipes. While many marques utilize dual finishes, Peterson's Cobble is more than the sum of its parts, the finish having required various retooling and adjustments across both rustication and sandblasting techniques to achieve something truly unique, especially when paired with the brand's elegant silverwork.
