Savinelli's Autograph is a limited-production, handmade series from the Italian marque, featuring stummels of specially aged briar that are turned by the workshop's three most experienced carvers. This series allows the artisans to deviate from the marque's typical shape chart, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind interpretations of classic shapes. One such example is this bent Billiard Sitter.

With its flat, Cutty-like heel protrusion, this bent Billiard is a stable Sitter indeed, and with its generous chamber well over two inches in depth, it's sure to make a reliable desk pipe. Stunning grain abounds throughout the stummel, with tight tendrils of flame climbing the walls of the bowl and adding extra definition to the flanks of the shank, while tight curlicues of birdseye swirl around the rim, heel, and length of the shank. These lovely grain patterns are dressed in a smooth, honey-blonde finish, which adds just enough emphasis the masterful confluence of grain and shaping without creating any visual distraction.
