About This Pipe
Named after an Italian nobleman, Ser Jacopo was founded by famous craftsman Giancarlo Guidi after he left the Maestro de Paja workshop. The Ser Jacopo workshop is known for creating the Pesaro shaping aesthetic and crafting classically rendered Italian pipes with unique, flourished finishes.
The series name, The Sound of Silence, captures the tranquil lines and harmonious proportions of this rare three-pipe set from Ser Jacopo. Marking a thoughtful departure from the bold, playful shaping traditionally associated with the Pesaro school, these pipes embrace a more restrained, classically inclined aesthetic, while still maintaining the subtly bowl-centric proportions that define the marque's Italian style.
Each pipe features a bowl roughly two inches tall, providing ample chamber capacity for long, satisfying smoking sessions. Designed to exist in visual harmony without sacrificing individual character, the set includes a paneled bent Billiard, a bent Dublin, and a paneled bent Apple. Closely related yet distinct, each shape expresses its own personality while contributing to a cohesive whole.
All three pipes are fitted with elegant silver spigot mounts, each adorned with the ornate accents of Ser Jacopo's Delecta line. The paneled bent Apple wears a glistening smooth finish that highlights its geometry, while the bent Dublin is finished in a textured rustication. A grain-defining sandblast dresses the bent Billiard's stummel. Rare and meticulously executed, The Sound of Silence three-pipe set underscores Ser Jacopo's exacting craftsmanship and disciplined design sensibility — all regally presented in a custom display case.
