Autograph Smooth Bent Dublin (6) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph series features limited-production, handmade pipes from the Italian marque, with stummels of specially aged briar that are turned by the workshop's three most experienced carvers. This series allows the artisans to deviate from the marque's typical shape chart, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind interpretations of classic shapes. This bent Dublin is a fitting representative of the series, with its thoughtful, distinctive shaping and fine finish work.

The fore of this Dublin's bowl juts forward, lending the composition a touch of dynamism in profile and extending the fluid, sweeping curve that underscores the stummel. The bowl's rim showcases a fetching display of birdseye, as well as some tidy chamfering around the chamber to aid in the loading of a favorite tobacco blend. Out back, a round shank emerges from the wide, low-set transition and is joined by a demurely bent saddle stem of acrylic that promotes a relaxed smoking posture. Dressed in a warm, smooth finish, the stummel boasts a wealth of gorgeous grain, from the aforementioned birdseye around the rim, to the tightly packed flame grain that climbs the walls of the bowl.
