About This Pipe
The late Giancarlo Guidi, founder of Ser Jacopo, was an avid art collector and enthusiast. So much of an enthusiast, in fact, that he created the Picta line — a series inspired by pipes featured in the works of major artists like van Gogh, Miro, and Magritte. This Picta bent Dublin takes inspiration from Joan Miró's work. As a shape, it features a tall, forward-canted bowl that flares from its lifted heel to its broad, beadline-wrapped rim. Said bowl is paired to an oval shank and a demurely curved, tapered stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A smooth, ebony finish dresses the stummel, while a sterling silver accent adorns the junction and ties the composition together with a dose of flash.
