Savinelli's Autograph series features limited-production, handmade pipes from the Italian marque, with stummels of specially aged briar that are turned by the workshop's three most experienced carvers. This series allows the artisans to deviate from the marque's typical shape chart, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind interpretations of classic shapes, with this bent Billiard being one example.

Graded "8," this offering lands among the upper echelons of Savinelli's Autograph line, and when looking at its impressive grain and skillful shaping, it's easy to see why. The bowl is quite muscular, and houses a generous chamber suited for longer smokes. This makes smoking posture all the more important; as such, this pipe comes equipped with a gently downturned stem that promotes a more comfortable clench. A rich, smooth finish accentuates the impressive straight grain that adorns the bowl, as well as the birdseye swirling around the bowl's heel and the top and underside of the shank. Meanwhile, a plateau-crowned rim adds a flash of textural contrast to the composition.
