It's a decent smoke but compared to Father Dempsey I was letdown. Especially for the namesake this is not a heavy English if anything this is better if your looking for a lighter English in my opinion.

And that's the name. Nothing "heavy" here. Actually, a pleasant medium-bodied English, with just enough Latakia to keep things interesting. This has become my "go to" English blend and is likely to remain so.

Cool and Easy-Going English

Sometimes it’s nice to smoke something that doesn’t stick to your tongue and palate, something that allows you to smoke bowl after bowl. That’s what you get with Heavy English. It straddles the fence between English and Balkan, burning coolly and mildly.
