This may well be the contrary opinion, but I really like this tobacco. It is a truly unique experience, an unadorned black cavendish. The true character of the tobacco is unmasked by any blending or essence of this or that. Actually, the smell in the jar and aroma of the smoke makes me think of the tobacco smells of western Kentucky when visiting my grandfather's farm decades ago. (The old tobacco barn is still standing.) I enjoy it as an alternative to my usual English blend preference, and like a stronger English blend, I suppose, it's probably not for the faint of heart. Jar note of brown sugar, tart dark fruit, and earth. Tobacco is black course cut and a bit moist. drying may be needed. Burns slow with a few extra relights. The strength is mild and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild to medium, with notes of caramelized sugar. Yeah, no. Like smoking Scottish bitter marmalade, without any sweetness or flavour. Just the oddest sensation as it coats your mouth with shock. I tried it mixed first, just a pinch in some Elizabethan, rank. Tried it straight and traumatized myself. I broke the jar I put it in just in case it ghosted it. It went in the bin.
