Product: Cornell & Diehl Sansepolcro 2oz
Starts off slow and warm, pleasant, then builds to a nice medium to medium high spiciness, and has a really great finish.
Do glad U decided to buy it, worth every penny!
Great clove flavor, and clovey on retro hale.
Do not rub this out before smoking, fold and stuff, you won't regret it!

This is a luscious dark rich flavor profile with almost no rough edges to be detected. Goes amazing with coffee, as any dfk blend should. Surprisingly gentle on the palette despite the robust flavor. Holds up very well to a charcoal filter.

Appeared after lunch today. The virginias stand out with a tiny sweetness, no bite and the darkfired sliding in behind. After taste makes you load another pipe right away. 2 tins bought with one sleeping for now. Different but equal to the Toscano blends.I may have to try the cigars!
Great slow smoking tobacco

I'm normally an aromatic guy but bought this as I was intrigued. Glad I bought six tins. Lol. I will be slowly smoking through this and will cellar the rest. It is great stuff.

Definitely not the original blend, but I think I'll give it a try?

Tin 1221 of 8000 has a note of bread, Rasins, and mild smoke. The tan, brown and dark brown broken flakes have a reddish hue and needs only minor attention on the few bigger flakes. Tobacco is a little moist, no drying needed. Burns relatively slow with multiple relights. The strength is medium to strong and nic is medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium to full and consistent, with notes of wood, earth, cigar, slightly grass, slightly floral, mildly sweet bread, mildly dried bitter fruit, mildly tart, mildly lemon and a very peppery retro. It seems like Italian dark fired and Red Virginias are playing high stakes poker while smoking cigars. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

This is not your standard Dark Fired Kentucky. The Italian Dark Fired in this blend is less "bar-b-que" and more "cigar-y". Not better, not worse just different. It's unique, and in a good way.

I usually smoke new blends in a cob. Not this one. I used my favorite briar instead. I rubbed it out a little for uniformity, and then gave it some fresh air. There's nothing exotic here, just top shelf tobacco. Being Virginia based, it's on the sweet side. The dark fired(I'm a burley smoker) is fantastic. The Cavendish seems to soften the smoke. All in all? Excellent! The after taste alone is worth the price of admission. Well done C&D!...Read More

First time buyer about a year ago. I did not care for it much then as it seemed cloyingly sweet for my tastes. Now, a year later, I find it much smoother and balanced. Nice!
