irst few bowls of Watchman's Reach, though, have been something unique to me so far. So hear me out here.... I do still get typical citrusy/zesty notes from this, but rather than overall sweet, I get overall savory, with a lot of doughy/bready notes. I smoked this next to my wife, and we both said the same thing at the same time: this tobacco smells and tastes like a very zesty Asian breaded chicken dish (no chicken flavor of course, but the smell and taste off the breading and zesty/bright sauce). I know that sounds weird, and maybe my taste buds are strange, but it was pretty amazing. It was very interesting to have what I considered a "savory" rather than just "sweet" bright Virginia. I bought this blend because I also bought Lone Sentinel which to me has a more flavor profile it was amazing but this one was good very mellow to me, less flavor so overall it was good not great.

uld immediately smell raisins, faint citrus and rustic bread. The smoke was creamy and cool from start to finish, picking out the flavors, the first thing to hit was green tea with honey followed by an after taste of a whole loaf of bread. This is one of those rare blends where what you taste in the mouth and what you get in the room notes are exact. My sister loved the smell as it felt like we were in our family’s kitchen on a cool evening. Tin note is a faint lemon tea aroma. Taste? Rather boring. Maybe I’m just used to smoking Virginias that have some portion of red in them. The smoke from this smelled exactly like a lit cigarette. This was very hard to keep lit which tends to be the case with plug tobaccos for some reason.
