Mac Baren's Modern Virginia Loose Cut consists of bright and darker Virginias from two continents, combined with Virginia-based Cavendish and a touch of Burley for a soft, smooth smoke. The result is a natural, sweet tasting, loose cut tobacco with a topping of ripe fruit (noticeably richer and more present here compared to the flake version) to captivate the modern pipe smoker.

the time with only short apparitions from the burley, grassy notes here and there but not as robust as to define the smoke, probably because of the cavendish which must tranquilize the whole plot. As mentioned before there is also a natural "aromatic" like quality in taste while the room notes prevails with natural and sweet tobacco.

ing it again. I found it a nice smooth smoke although I do not smoke Virginias much. The Virginia dominates the taste and is only slightly offset by the Burly and Cavendish. Overall, it is not bad and I may wind up getting some for times when I want a change in taste....Read More
