About This Pipe Tobacco
When Dunhill announced it would no longer be producing tobacco, pipe smokers rued the loss of some of their favorite mixtures. Thanks to Peterson, however, those beloved blends are still available. They're the same recipes and feature the same tin art as Dunhill's, just re-branded for Peterson.
My Mixture 965 is for connoisseurs of full-bodied English blends. Choice Latakia imparts a rich, smoky flavor and coolness, while Orientals are added for sweetness and spice. It's one of Dunhill's most popular English mixtures, now offered here from Peterson.

As many others have stated, I would sum this up as if its in my pipe and its smoking it is a fine smoke, however for me it was lacking something I couldn't put my finger on. Like a la croix, it just falls off for me.

picy, peppery kick that balances well with the brown cavendish. Finally, Latakia… in this case, certainly not overdone. It adds a gentle hint of peat, pine, wood fire, and leather to round out the blend. The tobacco is well packaged and cut with fine ribbons. Would recommend drying before smoking at it was a little moist in the tin. Smokes cool and dry. Overall, a great English that I will keep going back to....Read More
