Spicy, piquant Perique elevates a base of matured Bright and Red Virginias, enhanced by double-fermented Dark-Fired Kentucky from the Tuscan Tiber Valley region of Italy — a location recognized for its 300-year history of tobacco cultivation. Complex blend, perique and the fermented dark fired take the lead but all the tobaccos make themselves known and mesh well together. Bold, rich, lots of flavor a little spicy with notes of bbq, dark chocolate and a little coffee, very good stuff bet it will age nicely. 5 STARS 🔥

The tobacco, while fragrant with raisin, plum, chocolate and earth in the tin, On the tongue and in the nostrils the fire-cured Italian Burley makes its statement, then the Perique wafts in. There is then the Virginia providing the delicious finish. Frankly, I've not been much of a VaPer smoker (Lat forward English); THIS blend has changed my mind.
Since I'm using this tobacco only in the 145th Sav Punto Oro pipe, I have laid in a good supply. Just not quite sure what to do when it runs out......Read More

Tried to enjoy this in honor of the anniversary, but it wasn't the experience I had hoped for. This is a toned-down version of C&D Dreams of Kadath plus a bit of piney sawdust. Reminds me of following a garbage truck down the street. Not for me.
