Handcrafted in partnership with Cornell & Diehl, Savinelli's 145th Anniversary blend is a unique, cake-cut Virginia/Perique mixture designed to showcase the marque's Italian heritage. Spicy, piquant Perique elevates a base of matured Bright and Red Virginias, enhanced by double-fermented Dark-Fired Kentucky from the Tuscan Tiber Valley region of Italy — a location recognized for its 300-year history of tobacco cultivation. Redolent with notes of chocolate, dark fruits, and a hint of citrus, Savinelli's 145th Anniversary is a distinctive Va/Per with excellent balance, its underlying smokiness pairing exceptionally well with a caffè ristretto.

This is amazing- aroma and flavor are sweet and crisp with citrus, vanilla, and figs. Delicious and easy smoking with some nice transitions from floral to spicy to bold and creamy

Smells and tastes like a moldy fruitcake. You know, the one your mom found in the pantry years later. I don't like this at all. Not one thing about it. Not the worst I've smoked, but I don't want more.

Excellent blend. Was expecting somewhat of an aro by the tin note but great natural flavors emerged when smoked. Nutty, fruity with a dark roasted coffee like finish. Really great stuff.

Tried to enjoy this in honor of the anniversary, but it wasn't the experience I had hoped for. This is a toned-down version of C&D Dreams of Kadath plus a bit of piney sawdust. Reminds me of following a garbage truck down the street. Not for me.

One never knows about these "limited edition" blends, but this one is a winner. A light pressed cake with the tin note of a nice Pinot Noir. Not overly moist, so can be smoked straight from the can. Picking up citrus as it smokes.
