I'll say right away that I'm a fan of Virginia Perique blends and don't particularly like the addition of Oriental tobaccos, but I always continue to try something new.
So, upon opening, the tin aroma is typical of Oriental tobaccos. It burns incredibly well in the bowl. And the flavor—surprisingly, the Oriental tobaccos don't interfere with the sweetness of the light Virginia or overpower the piquancy of the Perique; they simply complement and create a very pleasant bouquet....Read More

With no bite and or burn, I've enjoyed this tobacco plenty. Its exotic taste, filled with grassy and tangy notes, is perfect for a relaxing session. The further I smoke, the more I can grasp the nuances in its flavor. I've heard that allowing it to sit for a while, really enhances the flavor—I'm excited to find out.

Of the pipe tobacco that I have had so far, this was very exotic, with sour fruity smells and tastes. I guess this is the influence of the Orientals and Perique, I think anyone into pipe tobacco should try this blend! I first tried it at sunrise walking my Dog, and was pleasantly surprised and intrigued the whole time. I am excited to try more oriental blends....Read More

Tin note of sour, spices, and mildly sweet. The reddish-brown broken flakes have a little tan and dark brown mixed in. It rubs out easily and needs no dry time. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is medium and nic is medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium to full and consistent, with notes of tart citrus, spicy, sweet grassy hay, bread, sugary lemon, dry earth, very woody, floral, a lot of herbal spice, mild raisin, mild sour plum, a mild consistent sweet background note, and a moderately peppery retro. Virginias leads, Orientals support, and Perique filling in when needed. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More
