About This Pipe
Anne Julie is unique among the unique. The pipe here has me seeing things I've really never encountered before. For starters, the shank was face off, and capped with a piece of acrylic, and a silver cap. Just a note; this is not a military mount, but it looks like it. This is original to the piece, because Anne stamped her name just at the edge of the briar, and the entire piece is carved and stained. This would be nearly impossible to do without removing the stamp. The textured silver matches the entire piece very well, and then there is the signature carved stem. Even with all of these details, it remains a very organic and light piece.
