About This Pipe

Taking a different path from standard cumberland, which is rolled, this is made by layering thin sheets of different colors. SEM, from Germany, is the company that makes this, and they are well-known for their quality. While many colors are available, the standard red-black reminds me a little of very early(1930s) Dunhill bits. I enjoy looking at all of the layers as they work their way down to the bowl. Because Larry gave this a very craggy, black, sandblast, it pairs up well. The small touch of a silver band is something almost necessary as a division.
