Not just renowned for his pipe making but also for his music, Jody Davis takes influence from the American and Danish schools (of pipe making, that is) when crafting his artisan pipes. He took the importance of using the best materials possible from the Danish school and Jess Chonowitsch in particular, and later traveled to Vermont to learn from famed American artisan J.T. Cooke.

Jody made this Billiard very bowl-centric, giving the lightly-tapered bowl a substantial height of just over two inches. The sandblast and mahogany stain give the bowl a rich appearance and touch, with a lengthy stem to back it up on its way to a thin wooden accent and a long saddle stem of vulcanite with short shoulders that allows this piece to reach nearly six and a half inches in all. Anyone looking for a long smoke will be pleased with the height of the bowl, and anyone looking for a well-sandblasted Billiard will be just as pleased with Jody's craftsmanship.
