About This Pipe
Bill Shalosky is an accomplished, Tennessee-based artisan, and produces pipes under his own brand in addition to carving for BriarWorks. Shalosky's pipes often combine compact, muscular proportions with flowing curves — this bent Brandy being a handsome example.
The bowl's lifted heel allows it to be effortlessly cradled in the palm, and the upward-flowing trajectory of the shank poises the stem for a comfortable clench. The stummel wears a rich auburn sandblast that adds crisp definition to the briar's rippling ring grain for a mesmerizing appearance and a stimulating texture in hand. Oriented Strand Board (OSB) adorns the end of the shank, its distinctive grain pattern and light coloring offering a pop of smart contrast. Beautifully made and conveniently compact in size, this pipe is sure to make a valued addition to your collection; moreover, it comes with a stylish, matching tamper.
