About This Pipe
Nutten's Handmade line represents the finest work within the carver's portfolio, being completely finished and shaped by hand. The Twiggy is one of Nutten's signature shapes, and it's a design that he renders with exacting precision. This particular iteration boasts all of the shape's characteristic features, namely the pointed, Pickaxe-like heel, flared bowl, and gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement. Nuttens has dressed this piece in a rugged sandblast that draws out rippling growth rings across the bowl's flanks, the finish's texture complemented by a rim of craggy plateau.
