About This Pipe
Having entered the world of pipe making at the mere age of 14, Max Rimensi of Il Duca has devoted decades of his life to his craft. The Italian artisan's portfolio showcases his eclectic style, informed by Danish and German influences, as well as those of his homeland. The Acorn is no stranger to Rimensi's portfolio, with each iteration more lovely than the last, and this particular one is no exception to that rule.
Somehow both trim and plump at the same time, the round-rimmed, narrow-heeled bowl poises pertly at the fore of an elegantly bent shank-and-stem arrangement. The shank flares steadily as it approaches the wide horn mount, which is met by a demurely bent, vulcanite stem that promotes a comfortable clench. The perfect backdrop for the pale horn mount, the stummel wears a rugged auburn sandblast that reveals the briar's dense grain in vivid tactile and visual detail. Whether you're a fan of the Acorn shape, a fan of Il Duca, or both, this offering is sure to secure a cherished spot in your smoking rotation.
