About This Pipe
Based in Gueydan, Louisiana, Jason Mouton crafts impeccably refined designs that are both strikingly dynamic and elegantly composed. This Popera exemplifies Mouton's deep appreciation for pipe history and his talent for creating forms that are distinctly his own.
As the name suggests, the Popera merges characteristics of both the Opera and Poker shapes, resulting in a hybrid design that captures the best of both compositions. It features the oval-shaped bowl of an Opera— ideal for slipping into a jacket pocket — and the flat heel of a Poker, allowing it to rest securely between puffs. Beyond its ergonomic appeal, the piece is also visually captivating, dressed in a ruby-hued sandblast and adorned with a brilliant band of silver that adds a nice touch of sophistication.
