Sandblasted Rhodesian with Rope Finish Silver (S5) (2521) Tobacco Pipe

Stubby and short in length, abbreviated in height, and dramatically broad and round through the bowl, this tanblasted Rhodesian from Larry Roush features the deep and gnarly blast that Larry has become famous for, with its very wide rim dotted with sandblasted birdseye in a gentle dome. Rather than his signature tapered shank and stem, Larry has chosen to emphasize the short length of this piece with a cylindrical shank and stylized, combination taper/saddle mouthpiece, the saddle section its own tapered form in dark and subtle vulcanite with subtle highlights of teal, blue and black. The sterling silver band is noteworthy, having been crafted using Larry's "Rope Cut" technique, evoking a look of twisted silver wrapping the end of the shank for the most elegant of effects.
