About This Pipe
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This "Maxima" Cherrywood from Ser Jacopo exudes neoclassic Italian style, most notably with its towering, cylindrical bowl poised at the fore of the composition. A broad transition meets a fully bent shank that rises to a high-kicking stem that possesses a high arch, making this piece ideal for comfortable jaw-hanging. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a chestnut sandblast, highlighting an array of cascading growth rings.
