Founded by Giancarlo Guidi in 1982, Ser Jacopo boasts a rich history of pipe making that will soon mark 40 years, enjoying a well-deserved reputation of being on the cutting edge of the Pesaro style of pipe making. A hearty bit of Italian craftsmanship, this bent Brandy form Ser Jacopo pairs a tall, muscular bowl to a sinuously bent shank-and-stem arrangement. Though the bowl is proportionally larger, the shank and stem manage to balance out the overall composition with their deep curvature. Additionally, the shank and stem promote a comfortable smoking posture from which to enjoy the bowl's capacious chamber. Secure in hand, with the bowl offering supple curves for the fingers to embrace, this piece is further elevated by a chestnut-hued, rusticated finish that offers plenty of tactile appeal.
