HU - Nebari 100g
My 3rd HU blend sampled but certainly not my last!
I will say my palate has an eclectic taste range. That being said the tin note is most intriguing along with the different cuts of tobacco within this blend. The tin notes are mostly that of oriental spices and subtle perique essence. For the amount of perique stated it is carefully not evident in the tin note. The moisture straight out of the tin is what I would consider medium. Packable right out of the tin or minimal drying for those with a panache for dryer baccy. Now I am a big proponent of love at first light, and this blend doesn’t disappoint. I will say the the char light was all that was needed because the blend stayed lit and behaved favorably throughout the entire bowl and burned down to extremely low dampness (not dottle). The flavors that permeated the majority of the bowl were nowhere near obscene and quite pleasant to those around me. So I would categorize it as left leaning of center towards pleasant. The flavors are akin to a light oriental blend with notes of fig, woodsy, campfire and baking spice intermixing throughout the bowl. The Nic strength is a medium (-) imho I wouldn’t categorize it as a all day smoke but definitely something I will lean towards when in the mood for a oriental blend with some hardy flavors.
