Some mornings
This review is kinda hard. Lots of people love this stuff and others not so much. Then I remember no 2 people have the same taste bugs. For a lighter English it did surprise me, I would say in flavor emp would be on the same level, having things like night cap and 965 be heavier in the English department. But the flavor is there and the tin note is unmatched for a non lat bomb tobacco. And the nicotine content is perfect. She goes good with a coffee and a good book. I picked this tin with minimal reviews reads. read the company note instead of reviews, try new things, even if something has bad reviews it doesn't mean you won’t like it.

Mysteriously in my bowl as I write this....
Yes as I'm writing this, im enjoying a bowl. I cut the plug and yes it smells like grape soda, but what people in these reviews don't say is the fired Kentucky and burly make the dried fruit smell(grape,plum) pop, as well as when u smoke it. Honestly a good blend. I'm glad I bought a couple tins. A good contender for my rotation

Theirs only 3 tobacco types I like.English, Virginia, and aromatics( some times). And I have pipes for each type. When I first opened my first tin of this it made me use all my English pipes in my rotation. The rich and smooth flavors and the aroma really got me. But after sitting in a jar for 2 months, it got so much better. The flavors melded and deepened, sweeter and more spiced. I recommend letting her sit for a couple months in a jar or what have you. It’s good out the tin don’t get me wrong but after those two months it’s giving in my rotation 24/7, 365.

It early morning on a Sunday, the grass is green, the sun is out, and all is calm. Almost through the whole tin…..
I tried this tin for a couple of reasons, it was December, Christmas in the air and a new pipe. First opening the tin you get your basic bright Virginia in flake form. Smells like any other Virginia and tastes like( you guest it) a Virginia. Now after half the tin I got hint of cinnamon rarely and some notes of berry. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good Virginia and my tin was at a good humidity( ready to pack, not to dry). But for a winter theme Virginia I was hoping for a little more. I usually buy new tins I haven’t tried in pairs. So I’ll cellar one for a year or two and write again but for now middle of the road sounds good enough.

I can’t even complain
I’ve tried burleys before and usually don’t like them super well….. but this one is amazing, it’s almost like an English in taste but still hit some notes of a traditional burly, and the sweetness of Virginia shows. I’m excited to cellar a tin and see how this one expands in flavor

Awesome for the price 1 issue…..
For the price you can’t beat it. It’s a tamper and does everything a tamper needs to do. I just wish there was a doddle pick. Other than that is a tamper, the wider base makes for a more even burn. Love these things.

Holly maple….
I’ve read so many good things about this tobacco and honestly they all were true. C and D says”lightly cased with a delicate maple flavor” and boy that was not delicate, but I love it. With a nice sweet tea and a good project this reminds me of wood working with my dad in the garage in October. I would recommend drying for a bit. Buy this in bulk because I know I am.
Cornell & Diehl - Burley Flake #1 2oz
Not bad but…
This tobacco threw me for a loop, harsh with a dark chocolate smell( I hate the smell of dark chocolate) and got no sweetness from the Virginia. Burns very quickly, I dried it a little the first bowl full and after that put a bowl straight from the can and it burt away in 15 minutes. Not my favorite tin.
