CHESSELOSNOB23
About Me:
I play chess. Petersons is my go to.

Peterson - De Luxe Navy Rolls 50g
Dont know what to think of it yet.
Tangy, slight pepper, grassy, coursish on the throat, wasnt the cinnamon buns I was hoping for?

St. Bruno - Flake 1.75oz
"Whats your state animal, a ring worm?"
I was disappointed, I thought this was going to be a rich virginia flake, a real European banger. The advertisement was exotic, import, much wow. I opened that tin, and every memory of trying to escape the south as a kid bubbled up to the surface. The Kentucky Fire Deep South. The Oklahoma HawkTuah, the mechanic who overcharges for basic service. I threw the tin out, its a cigar pressed into a flake.

Erinmore - Erinmore Flake 50g
Funky Juicy fruit that ages like a fine wine.
Opened the tin, immediate Juicy Fruit action. Lit a bowl immediately, was funky, mind you had to load it into a bowl that was previously sessioning University Flake, by the fourth bowl I was somewhat pleased. I let it air out in a jar for about a month, ****My god did it brighten up and have a more authentic, fresh, sweet taste, and pleasing throat coarsness unlike any type ive tried. Will recommend for sure, ordering more.

Peterson - Sweet Killarney 50g
Confectionary Sugar, and not even birthday cake level.
. Its got carmels and sweet buttery sensations on the tounge, but honestly; ---- Too sweet, bite in the throat, coating in the mouth that was just, a blast to the past when I smoked Great Value for the first time saying "Pipe Tobacco, lets give it a go." Not a fan.

Savinelli - Brunello Flake 100g
Raisin Bran
Its Raisin Bran. Fruity, Bran smelling, but fresher than Kellogs? What Raisin Bran would smell like if your mom made it at home versus a cereal corporation. Its-Awesome stuff. Highly recommended for a novice guy tryna light his custom frodo pipe, and a wonderful gear shift for pros. ----Out the tin, awesome smells. (Aires in a jar for a month now, much-much sweeter, like honey cake, bran muffins.) Cool burn, still-very pleasant smoke on par with bran, raisin, berry, nut flavoring, but not over powering, not CONFECTIONARY like Petersons Sweet Killarney, Aye carumba.

Peterson - Nightcap 50g
Latakia or not to Latakia, let me help you.
Mind you, I left my tin unopened for 3 years as the champs of niche tobacco recommended. I did NOT let my tin rub out/dry out. I simply dug into the tin with my fingers like a peasant and stuffed it all into my pipe. I saw the text color on the tin and said to myself. "Ah yes, the moment ive been waiting for, the prized Nightcap blend." Lit the bowl slow, took slow burning puffs, slow sipping drags, and----Christmas White Cheese Popcorn from BoyScout Troop 181? Baffled, surprised, and the rush of nicotine- not normal, it has calming dozy properties to the mix for sure, . . can still play Chess with it, but not my preference. As to do with the cheeeeeese, A harumph as I looked down at the tin, and saw the color of the "Nightcap." text. A clue,*Glowing Cheese Color.* I then dumped the entire tin into a pickle jar and rotated it over a heater, and burped the lid repeatedly for a couple days, now-the tobacco completely dried out, I smoked a bowl----More properties of heavy, thick, rich latakia notes, slight courseness to the throat, less cheese popcorn action, high nicotine levels. Felt tired, relaxed ish, so if thats what youre into, id try it.

Peterson - University Flake 50g
Stuff is London System-Gas.
I trouble shoot classic cars and I play Cbess. *Cracking the tin, the flake is semi damp, with beautiful dark notes of fresh, blueberry muffins. People claim they like to dry the stuff out a bit more, I personally like its dampness, especially when Im trouble shooting classic cars, it seems that I can tamp down the bowl after 10 good puffs, have the nicotine fix, and still have about 3/4 bowl left to burn, which is fantastic when youre on the road, conserving. Now lets talk about this nicotine content, it has a special power-undeniable, to the point where I looked at the tin and said "University, its in the label." I was slow and lethargic, in the rain, with a downed 66 plymouth that had a bad key ignition that wouldnt start, would pop the 30A fuse to the SR9 relay system. I opened the tin of University Flake in a grumle, in a fuss, in a muddled, murmured -swearathon. I smoked a bowl deep in the lungs, I felt nothing but frustration, got the car pushed into the shop and began the trouble shoot, at first; nothing---- I hit that second bowl of University Flake, and this time-relaxed, sipping for flavor. That nicotine took about 2 bowls to work its way into my brain---But when-it-DID. Im telling you now, been trouble shooting for years, its always the same feeling-----This stuff opened a new neural network that was dormant. So I spurlunked into my B bodies front end after writing up a color coded, numerically correct diagram of my wires so I could in a far cry, rip all the connections out. Had bulkhead connectors that were severely corroded to the firewall allowing for blue oxidization to occur, when that happens, the firewall creates, mini arcs. The mini arcs, set off the 30A fuse in my SR9 relay wire with each key stroke. and to that I say (Go get a couple tins and play some Chess on the stuff, you will not be disappointed.)
