生草：酒韵、少量的果味。
点火后：青草、香料、木香、酒韵、面包、谷物、果香、焦香、一点花香。
口腔里面能感受到明显的：果酸，果甜，会有回甘。
烟气方面：从轻柔到浓郁，风味明显，胡椒感明显。
总的来说这款草是不错的VP，前段分明，尾段厚重，也会有些许的劲道。所幸是我还没尝过“D”家的豪海，试完之后再进行补充……

Peterson/Dunhill Navy Rolls is definitely a desert Va/Per. Awesome blend with Just a little aromatic sweetness. Similar to Escudo but lighter.

I always say. This blend is Perique forward and virginia second. Very fun blend to practice your smoking skill because if you don't pace it right you won't be able to appreciate bouquet that Perique gives off. Just put your pipe in your mouth and breath through your nose people. Smoke condensate in your mouth, retrohale and exhale. Magic begins. Read Less

This is in my opinion the best pipetobacco. The Price is High but you must pay for quality. It`s made in Denmark, i live in Denmark but it is not available here. It`s a must try.

I enjoyed smoking these tobacco coins a lot. A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy. The flavors were hard for me to pin down, fruity with coconut maybe? At any rate Navy Rolls would be a fine addition to anyone's rotation.

Some folks claim that this is the same as Escudo, but I disagree. I get more flavor and definetly more pepper in Navy Rolls. One of my favorite VaPers.

Opened a tin I had dated to 06/22 when purchased. It really ages well guys. I always smoke coins on the dry side. So, I pack the bowl and wait a few hours. This smoke, escudo, davidoff red tin, and charatan vaper rolls are all very worthwhile to age Went and snagged 10 more for the cellar today, on 02/21/24. Another trick is to false char, rehit for a few minutes, and let bowl sit overnight. Pick up in AM, and you will have a pleasant surprise. Enjoy yourselves. Read Less

okay. It crumbles into perfectly sized shreds for easy packing. It keeps a light relatively well, which will depend on your pipe and your packing style. The best thing about this blend is that comforting flavors and aromas stay consistent from first spark to last ash. It’s a mellow all-day smoke. The tin note is reminiscent of raisins and prunes, though certainly not sweet. The smoke has a taste I find indescribable. This tobacco will please both lovers of English as well as those who prefer natural (unflavoured) aromatics.

half coins in a more standard sized bowl is good too. I do not sense much perique and it is not nearly as spicy as Peterson Elizabethan.
Although I usually prefer Elizabethan, the coins of this tobacco are charming and I like having them. De Luxe Navy Rolls are a good choice on days when I want something with a milder flavor than Peterson's Elizabethan, but with the same essential character.
The small bowled Peterson Belgique is my favorite pipe for this tobacco, though I do smoke and enjoy it in larger bowls, as in the Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 pot.
Technique notes: Smoking technique is to focus only on smoking. No reading or work or other distractions. Just enjoying the smoke. Outdoors only. A few bowls per week of pipe smoking. Lightly charring the tobacco initially and with relights. Sipping. Occasional retrohale. Peterson pipe lighter with smallest practical flame. Sometimes a BIC EZ Reach lighter.

Age When Smoked: New tin smoked occasionally for about two months

This must be the smoothest, coolest, tastiest, sweetest Virginia pipe tobacco I've tried. The perique is applied very lightly. Better than Escudo. IMHO of course.
