Captain Earle's - Ten Russians 2oz
Very Smokey in a good way
If you like the smoke and slight bite of Latakia then this is a blend you must try! It is absolutely delicious.

Half and Half - Half and Half 1.5oz
Good go to blend
I really enjoy this Codger blend. It isn’t complex, you will not find yourself pondering what note you tasting from what varietal. It’s simple but good. I would recommend this tobacco to anyone but especially new pipe smokers. It does not have a heavy topping but lightly flavored. Go for it!

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Kendal Black Cherry 50g
Unexpectedly pleased
I heard about this tobacco on a YouTube channel. Not being much of an aromatic smoker I was hesitant about it. I bought it anyway, I was put off by the tin note because it smelled very synthetic. I smoked a bowl of it and it was actually pretty good! The cherry flavor wasn’t overpowering and whatever they use for cavendish is fairly flavorful.

Three Nuns - Three Nuns 1.75oz
Absolutely wonderful
This Virginia/Kentucky blend is full of flavor. The sweetness of the Virginias comes through predominately, the dark fired Kentucky adds a lot of body, and the nuttiness of the burly brings it all together! I love it!

Molina - Tramonto Sandblasted (L34) (9mm)
Cost effective with true quality!
This pipe is a real winner for anyone. The price is fantastic, the craftsmanship is good, it’s smokes beautifully and it is well balanced weight wise. I really like this pipe. It’s not extravagant but it looks good and feels good.

Peterson - My Mixture 965 50g
Really satisfying and flavorful
I really like this English blend. Though it is technically a Scottish blend because it includes cavendish. The cavendish allows all the other varietals to come through, and the individual flavors are distinct. Great blend I would recommend this to anyone, especially someone trying English tobaccos for the first time.

G. L. Pease - Maltese Falcon 2oz
Really intriguing blend
My first bowl of this wasn’t the best and I don’t know why, maybe my pallet was in the mood. Every bowl since has been awesome! It’s a full English flavor with smoky sweetness. It’s like a glass of 15 year single malt scotch. I highly recommend this blend to English lovers!

Orlik - Golden Sliced 50g
Not what I had expected
This Virginia Perique had a lot of grassy/hay notes which is to be expected, with a slight peppery note from the perique also to be expected. My experience was a complete lack of sweetness from the virginias and that is what makes a Virginia blend good to me. So it met two out of three requirements but failed completely on the most important.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Impressed
I don’t typically enjoy aromatic tobacco blends. Unlike most aromatic tobaccos I can actually taste the individual tobaccos. The subtle tastes of maple come through pleasantly with no weird topping flavor. The room note is very pleasant. Finally I found a good aromatic!

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 2oz
A good blend, just give it a few minutes.
I first tried this blend probably 15 years ago, it was one of the first non aromatic tobacco blends I bought. Going back in time it was immediately my favorite tobacco. I still love this blend, I have had my ups and downs with it. I think because I get on a kick with certain blend types (English, Virginia , Va/Par, ETC…) and then go back to it and it slaps me in the face. But if I just relax and let the flavors develop it is a wonderful experience.

Cornell & Diehl - Bluegrass 2oz
Really good year round blend!
This blend by Cornell & Diehl is delicious! The sweetness of the Virginia tobaccos comes through first and then the mild smokiness of the dark fired Kentucky, while definitely there the Perique is in the background offering a mild spice. This blend is great for anytime of year. In the summer it reminds me of BBQ in the winter it’s warm and Smokey like a fire in the hearth.

Peterson - Early Morning Pipe 50g
Exactly what I expected
This “English blend” I put that in quotes because it is lightly flavored. Although I am uncertain what the flavoring is, is very tasty and has a pleasant room note for an English blend. It didn’t blow my mind but I will definitely keep this in my smoking rotation!

Peterson - University Flake 50g
Not bad but not good
I expected a lot more from this Virginia based flake. I love Virginia tobacco. This blend had a slight sweetness but over all a very muted flavor. With that said maybe it would be good with a morning coffee because it really wouldn’t interfere with the flavor of the coffee.
