Cuesta-Rey Cabinet No. 898 Cigar (7 x 49)

Cuesta Rey cigars commemorate Angel LaMadrid Cuesta's commitment to handmade cigars. He opened up his first cigar factory in 1884, and quickly earned a reputation as one of the greatest handmade cigar craftsmen of his day. Cuesta-Rey cigars were once the official cigar of 19th century Spanish King Alfonso XIII, and Señor Cuesta was honored with the title, "Tobacco Purveyor for the Spanish King and Court." The Cabinet No. 898 is produced by JC Newman Cigar Company, and is hand-rolled by the skilled artisans at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic. It utilizes rich wrapper leaves grown in the shade of the Connecticut River Valley, offering a flavorful cigar that has a mild-medium body. The Dominican binder as well as the Dominican and Brazilian fillers help add to the balanced and smooth smoke this cigar offers with its mild-medium body. The Cabinet No. 95 is the original blend of this line and it was the first cigar to utilize a genuine African Cameroon wrapper.
