uropean friends will disagree) - it’s just how Hershey’s smells.
I sampled three bowls in a MM Missouri Pride. The samples were all uniform in color and properly dry, and unlike several of the last aros , not oily. More on that below.
So - if you’ve gotten accustomed to seeing me name and aro and then rip it apart , well, you’re gonna be dissatisfied, Old Son. This aromatic is quite tasty and I really enjoyed it. And I think I know why.
Let’s start with the bowls. So I was surprised to not instantly think it was gross. Gonna admit, the last few aros have left me gun shy. But this was very smooth, and “clean”. It reminds me a little of a Black N Mild cigar , something I enjoyed by the hundreds decades ago.
Further sampling reinforced the “honest” nature of the blend - it doesn’t present and “chemical” notes and I had an epiphany - the other aros I’ve liked seem to be Virginia dominant. The ones I dislike - black cavendish. Could not be I just don’t care for black cavendish and the toppings magnify whatever it is I don’t care for ? Hmmmm …
Then I remember - I love English Chocolate by Two friends - made by C&D. And this basically American Chocolate .
By bowl three I’m asking myself “are you really about to give a 5 to a chocolate aromatic?” And , answering myself , I was surprised to say “Yeah. I am. It tastes clean, it’s nice and tactile in the blend, the room note is aromatic but not assailing to the senses - as far as aromatics go, it’s definitely a 5 compared to the examples in the previous examples.
My rating : 5 - I’ll be buying a pound of this soon.

To me, this tobacco has a sharp taste; not like tongue bite, but not pleasant. It does have a nice room note, I'll give it that.

Smokes well. Smell is very nice, but smoke is too bitter for me, had to bled it with vanilla.

It's chocolate alright! If you like aromatics from C&D like me, mostly for their subtly, and you like chocolate, this will do you well.

noticeable chocolate note. I prefer this neat, but when added to English mixtures the chocolate goes well with Latakia and the smooth cavendished VA, mitigates any sharpness from a fresher Oriental or bright VA. Absolutely no bite and virtually no nicotine. Nicotine is 0.5 out of 5....Read More
