tasty and well behaved for being more akin to shag than ribbon. (push it though & it'll get ashy on you). it's definately got the chocolate/vanilla notes, but in a safe & sane; subtle kinda way that shouldn't put off the non-ARO crowd. but ultimately, it's too light in body for my taste. thus, i added a 2oz. of can of C&D's DFK to 4oz. of this B&B = WOW!! serves me well as great base, which I hope to noodle-press some of soon; Lord willing....Read More

It is sweet and medium flavored. The rich burley taste is there. There is a mild chocolatey flavor and aroma, and some Lakeland essence, but not too much. Smokes cool with no bite; It can be enjoyed all day and doesn’t need much attention.

It's pretty bitey. It bites. Really enjoyable tin/jar note. Smells incredibly good before lighting. Surprisingly spicy on the lightup. Room note is nice. Chocolatey and vanilla. Decent Virginias, burleys not so good. It burns really hot, really fast. Hard to keep lit, especially if you try to smoke it at a slow enough pace to enjoy the flavors and keep from getting tongue/palate/mouth bite. Much nicer than the "cigarette" some reviewers have assessed it to be, but not great. Best thing is the tin note and the room note. I might keep it around to use as potpourri....Read More

Package note of cocoa, earth and sweet vegetation. Tobacco is a thin ribbon cut of tan and reddish brown. Moisture content is ok, most pipe smokers will want to dry it a bit. Burns moderately fast with few relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild to medium. Flavoring is mild, with notes of Cocoa and Vanilla. Cocoa is a mild background flavor leading me to think it is a casing, the vanilla seems to be a topping that begins to fade after initial light to a sporadic background flavor. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with notes of vanilla, molasses, peaty vegetation, cocoa, wood, savory, sugar, earth, spices, sweet grass, bread, floral, dry bitter, rich, orange peel/zest, tart and tangy citrus, mildly spicy, a sweet nutty background note, and a moderately peppery retro. Burley is leading with Virginia and Flavoring supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is good....Read More
