the smell is excellent when I opened the tin; I even spent several minutes inhaling and enjoying it, which is a big plus for this tobacco.
The flakes are large but easily broken apart with your fingers, and the moisture content is just right.
It burns well, and the flavor is smooth from start to finish.

Came in very wet and had a weird smell similar to dog food... after drying it up for a bit smells better now. Smokes fantastically, doesn't bite at all. Sweet and bready, with other notes appearing as well that I don't know how to describe.

Top Virginia from C&D

This is another blend that disproves the theory that C&D can’t make a top-notch Virginia. For me, this and Nørding Pointer (also by C&D) are excellent straight Virginias. None of the “too young, needs to age” nature we sometimes get from other C&D blends. An added benefit is that the tin tends to keep the flakes more intact than the usual C&D cans. (The tins don’t indicate production date, though, which is unfortunate.)

Savinelli's Juno is an excellent surprise. I would vins8der it a hidden gem for Virginia lovers. The flake are chunky but bereakdown easily if that's your bag. The moisture is good but I like to dry this one for 20 mims or so. Lights well, burns well, and the flavors are consistent down the last puffs. This one is sweet bread all the way, which i love. Bready sweet VA, mellow and hints of hay I imagine this will age extremely well. This won’t be a rotation smoke but definitely a few gonna go in the cellar.
