Made in Italy from fermented American and Italian Dark-Fired Kentucky tobaccos, Toscano cigars are referred to as dry cigars or "cheroots." In collaboration with Cornell & Diehl, Toscano presents the Maestro series, a series of pipe tobaccos that capture and recontextualize the piquant profiles of Toscano cigars. Toscano's Maestro Allegro is a ribbon-cut English blend that consists of Dark-Fired leaf sourced from Kentucky and Tennessee, stoved and unstoved Red Virginias, and a hint of smoky Latakia. Allegro showcases Toscano's signature bold and spicy flavor alongside subtle notes of vanilla, caramel, and maple.

I dont normally give up on a tin, but this one made me throw in the towel halfway through. I even tried some of my own blends such as adding a bit of cigar leaf to one small offering and even adding in some CnD vanilla to another. I played with humidity levels for all of them and in the end, all my efforts only made it SLIGHTLY more tolerable. A reputable company, no doubt about that; but this one just isnt for me....Read More

Thirdly, the taste of the tobacco. Is it aromatic or non-aromatic?
If you puff your pipe quickly, then it's non-aromatic, but if you take your time, you'll taste the sweetness of this tobacco. It will tingle around your lips and tongue, and you will definitely taste it because it is there - the sweetness of caramel, vanilla and maple!
What an amazing tobacco this is! but only when you give yourself the time to enjoy it.
For me this tobacco in a briar pipe was and is just perfect.
This is an all day tobacco and I am happy that I bought it.
