Bruno Nuttens Handmade Smooth Poker (AAA) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Born in Belgium and now living in France, Bruno Nuttens began his career with pipes as a restorer, eventually deciding to turn his own pipes. With guidance from masters Pierre Morel and Tom Eltang, and inspiration from legends like Sixten Ivarsson and Paolo Becker, Bruno now makes completely handmade pipes like this Poker.

The bowl features light vertical curves and a smooth, cherry red finish to the handsome alternating cross grain and birdseye matched on the brief shank. A lightly bent cumberland stem complements the stummel's finish well in color and in shape. From bit to heel, the pipe weighs in at just over one ounce to allow for easy support by jaw alone, but don't worry — it's still a Poker, and the heel holds it upright on a flat surface just as well.
