Joe Hinkle Smooth Blowfish (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Based out of Indianapolis, Joe Hinkle started crafting pipes in 2011, making some for friends and family before selling them to online retailers. Fortuitously, he met talented pipe maker Nate King, who happened to also live in Indianapolis, at a pipe show. Both instruction from King and trial and error helped shape Hinkle into a supremely talented craftsman. This Blowfish bespeaks his talent for reading a block of briar and shaping it into something beautiful. The composition is dynamic, changing form dramatically when viewed from different angles. Paneling along the shank adds even more intrigue to the silhouette, and the stummel wears a smooth, chestnut-hued finish to accentuate the briar's gorgeous grain. With its flowing form, handsome grain, and gracefully bent stem, this piece is sure to make a fetching jaw hanger.
