About This Pipe
Taiwanese pipe maker Jerry Zenn spent 25 years in the automotive industry before transitioning to pipe making. Celebrated for their meticulous attention to detail, both in form and function, Jerry's pipes provide a refined smoking experience, reflecting his unwavering precision and commitment to quality craftsmanship. His style is deeply organic, evident in fluid shaping and common use of natural accents.
One such organic profile is this Rhodesian, featuring balanced proportions and a shank extended by four knuckles of faux bamboo, creating a harmonious transition through the aft while flaring subtly at the junction. The bowl itself is nicely rounded, providing a striking contrast to the more structured aft, while retaining softer proportions than the typical Rhodesian shape. A plump waistline is defined by a single beadline, adding a subtle tactile accent to the otherwise smooth shaping. The stummel is finished in a light sandblast and stained an auburn hue, creating a warm juxtaposition with the warm tones of the bamboo shank.
