Boasting over 30 years of experience and a diverse portfolio, Konstantin Shekita is one of Ukraine's first artisan pipe makers. Shekita entered the world of pipes by first polishing mouthpieces at the Golden Gate pipe factory in Kiev. He quickly climbed the ranks, learning tricks of the trade and working as an independent carver alongside his job at the factory. Over the years, the artisan has amassed a portfolio encompassing a broad range of styles — everything from shape-chart classics to sculptural Freehands. The bowl is subtly plump, its walls bowing ever so subtly as they rise from the muscular heel to the crisp, smooth rim.
