Founded in 1974 by Fritz Becker, Becker is a family-run Italian workshop now led by third-generation artisan Federico Becker. Renowned for breaking away from the traditional, bold Italian neoclassical style, Becker favors sleek, lightweight designs with refined proportions. This Billiard offers a bolder interpretation of the shape, featuring a stout bowl with thick, cylindrical walls that give it a substantial presence in hand. A sharply defined heel and subtly domed rim offset the bowl's heft, while the straight, tapering shank and stem create a streamlined silhouette against its angular profile. Despite its robust shaping, the pipe remains lightweight and showcases beautiful grain beneath a dark, inky sandblast, complemented by a hand-cut Cumberland stem.
