About This Pipe
While far from the costliest example I've seen of the Great Line, this sandblasted bent Dublin is nonetheless quite a nice one to my eye. The shaping is pretty typical of these pieces; big, bold, solidly-anchored freehand Dublin, crowned with plenty of plateau. It's the Old Antiquari sandblast that really makes this one shine, or more to the point, the copious yet wild ring grain it coaxes out of the briar.
