About This Pipe Tobacco

Sir Walter Raleigh pipe tobacco was first introduced in 1927 and is currently produced in the United States. Sir Walter himself was introduced quite a bit earlier, the 1500s in fact, and became known for many deeds of valor and courage, as well as the man who popularized smoking in Europe. Sir Walter Raleigh's Aromatic is a unique blend of aged Burley and Virginia tobaccos flavored with imported French and Dutch liqueurs for a rich aroma and a mellow, comfortable smoke.

I tried it , it starts easy, puffs good , tastes good, but, it doesn't stay lit ... you have to top your thump on the top of the pipe to feel more smoke. good for everyday smoke, also, in hand price.

The flavor is simple and consistent light maple. It’s flavorful enough to keep you interested, but one bowl is enough. This practically smokes itself, it burns well but also not too fast or hot. It is $5.35/oz though. I would rather go with Autumn Evening or Bradyville....Read More
