The flavor is OK but nothing exceptional. As far as Cavendish blends go, I was hoping for something smoother. The cognac added is just about perfect, noticeable but not over powering. I would have preferred a little more virginia and a bit less burley. For my taste there was too much of a bite developing about halfway through the bowl. The Cognac is subtle and this is not a boozy dessert blend. Benefits from open pouch drying for couple of days. Mixed results in briar, really came to life in a cob. Worth sampling if at all curious and in my case, I have reordered it.
