Excellent tobacco combination almost like the peterson flake in plug form with no toppings. This is a review where the production was in Feb and it was smoked in July not much time to mature. If you’re looking for cellaring virginias for long 2 years min. I would be amazed how it would turn out....Read More

This was my first purchase of a plug type of tobacco. I smoked it shortly after purchase, without giving it much time to mature. I also acknowledge that I may need to refine how it was smoked to maximize my enjoyment. It wasn't bad, but I didn't find it remarkable. My current preference leans toward Latakia blends. Very nice light Virginia plug with bright citrus/hay forward and a sweetness that doesn't overwhelm the tobacco. Also a little malty undertone. The way I chose to cut did affect the smoke. A fine shag amped up flavor and heat but didn't bite with gentle cadence. Cube/rough cut gave me best results with no bite & burned slowly and cool. No harshness but my tin had 2yrs age....Read More
