day...and that would be Perique. I was out there thinking is this my first VaPer? I was so confused by this. I couldn't wait to get back inside to see if I was correct. Only to learn; I was wrong. It is: Perique, Latakia, and Burley. The Perique was the most present, the Latakia was hinting with only jabs and I only noticed when smelling it in its jar, and the Burley was pummeled into submission and left the scene. So for me this is a bit spicey. And even more so if you draw with a slightly open mouth. Then it really comes across w/the spice. Once it burned to near the halfway mark it got interesting. I found myself tasting something I would normally want to chew. Only I couldn't recognize what that would be and .... there's nothing there to chew on. Not sure what that was about, but again...interesting. I will likely change today's Star rating in the future, because that's the fair thing to do. But for now, I give it the rating matching the overall average for this; and for it being my first bowl. A 4-Star rating from me means; pretty good and I will keep some on hand to smoke from time to time. For a 5-Star from me, it must be one I want and will light up daily. A 3-Star is one that's OK, but I am on the fence still; to buy again or not....Read More

black ribbons amongst the comparatively greater portion of the dark brown burley. And when you ignite said ribbons, your impressions change. This is no English, but instead a burley blend seasoned by a small portion of black Latakia, making for a smooth smoke, featuring an uncommon marriage in a burley. I smoke burley blends.I love burley with perique.This give me some latakia in my rotation.Its great like it is.It reminds me of a really fine cigar.Order an ounce....you might find you have a new favorite.

Sincerely,I'm one of those 'say-nah-to-burley' guy. However, Latakia and Perique in this mixture well-cover burley's 'unpleasant' side and also has a good balance.
