About This Pipe Tobacco
For Pease's Jackknife Plug, dark-fired Kentucky Leaf and ripe red Virginia tobaccos, with their deep, earthy flavors, are layered on a central core of golden flue-cured for a hint of bright sweetness, then pressed and matured in cakes, and finally cut into 2oz blocks. Slice it thick and rub it out for a ribbon cut, thin for a shag, or chop it into cubes. The choice is yours.

Yet another excellent smoke from GLP.

Straightforward

This plug is on the far opposite end of the spectrum from aromatics. Quite savory with no frills. Tin note has a very smoky BBQ sauce presence. Once in the bowl it morphs into fragrant sweetness. Very pleasant smoke and great intro to DFK.

I am smoking my first bowl of a tin I had to open and jar because after 7 years the tin looked like it was about to explode. It aged very well. Slightly more mellow and deeper than when I have smoked this fresh before. I recommend aging this one. Very nice.
