When it's just too hot in East Texas to smoke Maltese Falcon, Plum Pudding or any Va/Per .... This stuff hits the spot. Quality tobacco. I mix it with a little straight Virgina or just on its own. Packs a little punch and smooth as butter on a biscuit... I'm narrowing my tobaccos down to 10 that I will keep around as long as God is Willing to let me. This, BRM, Maltese Falcon, Plum Pudding, Anything that says Mississippi River on it, Countryside, Quiet Nights, Cross-Eyed Cricket, Golden Slice, and a couple of others.. My point being that even if you're not a typical Aro smoker..When It's hotter than Fish Grease outside, and you don't smoke inside (which I do Not) This'll Work Everytime!!!...Read More

I love my coffee and I love my tobacco.
There's rarely a more perfect pairing of smells and tastes.

Right out of the bag, she definitely needs drying. At least a half hour, but in my case closer to an hour. Well topped, and smells of sweetened black coffee, or even toffee right out of the bag/in the jar.

Room note is nice, and comes across as a warmed up version of the jar note.
Taste wise - the cavendish comes through and the coffee takes a back seat - but it's still in the car.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. Coffee Caramel rewards patient sipping AND patient retro. Letting the smoke gentle into and out of the mouth rewards with the caramel noted sweetness/sweet cavendish.

Considering its Consistency to the touch, is dark rich, tacky moist. Not goopy wet.
Its ready to smoke out of the tin.
But merely well topped.
This considered, its surprisingly lacking in a direct Coffee or caramel flavore ☕️ its Tin note has some very mild distant coffee notes>Once lit by flame, the immediate notes that hit your senses are a slightly sharp familiar Cavendish/Burley
That soon mellows.. to a lite slightly sweet Coffee - Caramel finish..
I feel this tobacco is less pronounced in its Coffee notes but rather invokes the senses..
in the relam of Coffee caramel.
Enjoyable to pair with a cup of Coffee.. at the Cottage, as it maintains a natural burly cavendish experience.

Relatively neutral black cavendish flavor with a good amount of body, a nice caramel with light coffee undertones, and not ultra gooey. So far this has worked well as a blender.
